Glenn Fredrickson, Professor of Chemical Engineering and Materials here at UCSB has offered to give us a lecture about his new role as CTO in Mitsubishi Chemical in Japan (in addition to his professorship at UCSB, not instead). Prof. Fredrickson’s talk will cover questions of academia vs. industry, and the fact that Mitsubishi is a Japanese company where Prof. Fredrickson has to work for a set amount of time a year.
